Description

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigeria Nationals for the positions below at the Institute’s headquarter in Ibadan.

Position: Tractor Mechanic

Duration: 6 months’ renewable                                                        Location: Ibadan

DUTIES:

  • Repair and maintain tractors and implements.
  • Carry out repair, servicing and maintenance of seed processing machine and all types of threshing machines.
  • Repairs gang mower and lawn mower.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION:                                        

O ’level with minimum of six (6) years of experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment. Trade Test is an added advantage.

COMPETENCIES:

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have technical knowledge of mechanical equipment like tractor, gang mower, lawn mower and all types of threshing machines
  • Be hard working and trustworthy
