The programme offers internship placements in the following areas:
1. Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Intern
Interns in this category will be involved in:
- Analyzing equipment data to identify performance trends
- Supporting maintenance and operational improvement processes
- Evaluating equipment conditions and suggesting efficiency improvements
- Assisting management with technical and operational tasks
2. Industrial / Civil Engineering Intern
This role focuses on project and site operations, including:
- Supporting technical project planning and control activities
- Assisting with budgeting and cost monitoring
- Contributing to energy and process management tasks
- Gaining field experience on active construction sites
Julius Berger Graduate Trainee Program Eligibility Requirements
For Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Intern:
- Must be in at least the 5th semester of a Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a Master’s programme
- Field of study: Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
- Must provide proof of current student status
- Basic knowledge of both English and German
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to an international environment
- Availability for a 5–6 month internship period
For Industrial / Civil Engineering Intern:
- Must be enrolled in a Master’s programme in Industrial or Civil Engineering
- Provide proof of current enrollment
- Working knowledge of English and German
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office)
- Availability for a minimum of 3 months
